Death- Justice or Revenge? Justice is defined in the Oxford dictionary as,"authority exercised in the maintainenance of right".But then, how is 'right' defined?"Just, moral or socially correct". Today is 14th August 2004.Tommorow will be the 57th anniversary of India's independence.As the nation gets ready to celebrate the freedom that most of us were born into and that which years ago was just a cherished dream of our forefathers,it also celebrates (not everyone does...) the death of Dhananjoy Chatterjee, a criminal accused of a gruesome crime, rape and murder of a 14 year old girl. India is know the world over as the land where great minds like GDeath- Justice or Revenge?
